Three of our Directors are pitching on the Jimmy and the Sounds, track. DJ Franco Philippe is the selected remixer of Northern Film & Media and Generator’s Sound & Vision competition.Franco Philippe, AKA Alex Hindle, impressed with his ‘College Kids’ Springbreak’ version of ‘Sounds’ by Teessiders Jimmy and the Sounds.Sound & Vision is a unique collaboration between Northern Film & Media and Generator, bringing together musicians, music producers and filmmakers in the North East. Six artists from nearly 100 entries were short listed and 20 remixes of the track were submitted. Jimmy and the Sounds and DJ Franco Philippe emerged victorious after two separate online votes.
